I’m Lajos Kamocsay, 100% Hungarian. I live in the wonderful town of BEDFORD new hampshire. I moved here in 2006 after working in LA on stuff like The Powerpuff Girls Movie and a bunch of titles for Disney. I currently teach a bit at the New Hampshire Institute of Art and the Art Institute of Boston and work on cool projects at home, but the most important thing in my life is to take care of my absolutely cutest baby Sophie while my fantasticly awesomest wife, Jen attends the Northeastern University School of Law.
What is this site about?
I like art and computers and the combination of the two (I also like making my own sausage and a bunch of other things.) Every once in a while I come up with stuff that I think could be useful to others, so I decided to write about that here. I’m also getting older, so writing things down help (don’t worry, you’ll get there, too.)
What the hell is a soymint?
I was playing around with anagrams at wordsmith.org, and the word soy came up a bunch of times from my name. It was kind of cold that night, so I was sipping on a hot cup of hot mint tea, and all of a sudden the combination of the two sounded kinky and satisfying. (I just made that up, I have no idea where mint came from.) So that’s how soymint was born.
